Del Miller is the managing director of BlackBizPro.com. Del was born in Jamaica and came to Toronto in 1993. He has a degree in computer engineering from the University of Ottawa and has worked in the IT (Information Technology) field for almost sixteen years with some of Canada’s top technology firms.
During our conversation Del talks about various subjects including why did he decide to study computer engineering, why he did not go to his university graduation and his parents reaction, some of his thoughts and experiences of the world of computer engineering, how BlackBizPro.com came into existence and it’s purpose, his thoughts on areas of opportunity for Black business, what has he learned about Black business since the start of BlackBizPro.com.
Del also provides his thoughts on “immigrant mentality” , “project freedbird”, entrepreneurship, message for Black men and his vision for 2012.
