With all apologies due to Mick Jagger, Keith “Murph” Murphy may not be a man of immense wealth, but he does have taste.

For well over a decade, the Chicago-born journalist, author, editor and blogger has sparred with the likes of a brazen hip hop demigod (Jay-Z); Oscar-winning Hollywood royalty (Leonardo DiCaprio); Young Money’s left-field, multi-platinum groundbreaker (Lil Wayne);  a social media goddess (Kim Kardashian);  rap’s great white hope (Eminem); the most influential R&B diva of the modern age (Mary J. Blige); and Motown’s last superstar (Rick James).

Mr. Murphy’s work has appeared in such respected publications and online sites as VIBE, The New York Post, Billboard, Complex, ESPN’s The Undefeated, OZY, and Essence. His critically acclaimed VIBE blog Full Clip has featured career-dissecting interviews from a who’s who of music legends ranging from Erykah Badu to Will.i.am. Mr. Murphy is a frequent commentator on CNN, VH1, and A&E Biography and has appeared on FOX News’ highly rated The O’Reilly Factor as well as BET. And Mr. Murphy is the author of the 2006 men’s lifestyle book Manifest X.O. and is currently a senior editor at VIBE.

Mr. Murphy has also written music bios for a wide range of artists from 50 Cent to Bell Biv DeVoe.
