Black Canada Talking™ is a live online event that provides Black Canadians opportunity to give their takes and POVs on stories that are of importance to them.
On the January 31, 2021 edition of Black Canada Talking™, the guests was Cesar Ndema-Moussa.
During our conversation we talked about:
– Canada’s first chamber of commerce dedicated to serve Black-owned businesses has overhauled its leadership team following a tumultuous several weeks that saw the departure of its president and allegations of poor management from disgruntled former volunteers
– Several Black organizations were denied federal funding through a program designed to help such groups build capacity after Employment and Social Development Canada told them their leadership was not sufficiently Black
