Dr. Vibe And Glen Markham

As a Dad of two daughters who got through their adolescence with their self – esteem intact, Glen Markham remains pleasantly surprised and breathing a sigh of relief. They are in their 20-something existential crisis mode right now, but all on track.

They called him pappi, pops, daddy and pop the paparazzi (given his need to take their pictures constantly), growing up. Business people called Glen a brand strategist, service designer, innovation lead, creativity coach, storyteller. Other names as well.

Over his years in the business, Glen has been challenging mostly willing people into seeing all sorts of new possibilities for their brands and companies. He is known for finding the links and connections many miss and uses this understanding to crack the problem wide open to reveal an unexpected solution.

Today, he is concerned about the state of dads. That life needs dads should not be a surprise but seems to be. Through his work he wants men to be proud to be dad – a verb as much as a noun. He hopes to help them take their man skills and adapt them to become dad talents. He knows that being a dad is a journey with tears of joys and sadness. No do-overs. No rules.

But as his eldest said to him, “Dad you don’t get to quit.” Being a good dad is important, so he won’t quit working at it. Likely good for his self-esteem.
