The latest Gallup poll on American priorities, released this week, shows that Americans are far more worried about race relations than they were just a year ago. The only issue that stoked a higher increase in concern from last year is the possibility of a “terrorist attack,” a vaguely defined category that we can only presume means an attack from a Middle Eastern country.
